Nathan John Feuerstein (born March 30 1991) and known by his initials NF (stylized as IF) is an American singer, rapper, songwriter and record producer. He has released two EPs: I'm Free (2012),[3] and an EP self-titled in 2014 in association with Capitol CMG. Mansion was his debut major label album, came out in March of 2015. His second studio album Therapy Session came out on April 22nd, 2016. It was a top 12 album on the US Billboard 200. His albums have received numerous accolades, including: the Gospel Music Association Dove Award Rap/Hip Hop album of the year (Therapy Session). NF became a mainstream hit with Perception in 2017. The album charted in the United States at number one and was certified platinum. "Let You Fall" hit number twelve on the. Billboard Hot 100 was a world-wide top-10 chart. Similar commercial success was also achieved with The Search (2019). Feuerstein explained that rap was a means of escape for his family in his early years. He would record songs using a karaoke machine, recording instrumentals on one microphone and rapping on another. Feuerstein independently released Moments, the first album of his studio album on the 29th of November, 2010. He released his debut single, "Alone", on August 2nd, 2011. Brooke Griffith and Tommee Profitt as the song's producer and songwriter, appeared in the track. Xist Music discovered Feuerstein's work in 2012 and was intrigued by his music. The artist published his debut extended play I'm Free on May 2nd in 2012 and Profitt was the producer. The tracklist featured nine songs that included "Alone". The EP also contained the exclusive rendition of "Alone" featuring Sean Simmonds. Xist released a teaser for the release of their self-titled extended piece, NF. However, Feuerstein was able to separate from the label in the middle of a dispute. The production of NF was delayed. But, NF featured a song, "Only One", featuring Shuree Williams, on the compilation album released by the label Move Vol 1. The singer released a single, "Beautiful Addiction", on the 4th of November 2013. Profitt again made an appearance in the song. Additionally, Danielle Swift sang.
