Jacques Bermon Webster II (born April 30 1991), better known by his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott) is a popular American artist, rapper, songwriter, and record producer. The stage name is the combined name of his favorite uncle, with the initials and first name (of Kid Cudi), of his main inspiration Travis Scott. Scott signed his first major-label agreement with Epic Records in 2012, along with an agreement to publish with Kanye West's GOOD Music. He signed a joint-recording agreement with Epic and T.I. 's Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first long-form album, Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in 2013. The mixtape was later followed by Days Before Rodeo in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was his first album of studio work. It featured the hit song "Antidote". His second album entitled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first number one album on the Billboard 200. Scott's second album, called Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was an album that was a collaboration with Quavo. It was titled Huncho Jack Huncho and included his debut Billboard Hot 100 single, "Sicko Mode" which featured Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records album JackBoys debut on the Billboard 200 in late 2019. After the release of his single "Franchise" (featuring Young Thug and M.I.A.) Scott was the first artist to be ranked first place on the Hot 100 with three songs in less than a year.
